2. Payment Terms

 3. Use of Trailer

The trailer is to be used solely for lawful purposes and within the manufacturer's recommended load and usage limits. The Lessee agrees not to overload the trailer or use it to transport hazardous or illegal materials. The maximum load capacity is __________ pounds.

5. Maintenance and Repairs

The Lessee agrees to maintain the trailer in good condition and to perform any minor repairs or maintenance required during the lease term. Any major repairs needed due to mechanical failure or accident must be reported to the Lessor immediately. The Lessor is responsible for major repairs due to mechanical failure, while the Lessee is responsible for any repairs resulting from misuse or negligence.

6. Liability and Insurance

The Lessee assumes full responsibility for the trailer during the lease term and agrees to carry sufficient insurance to cover any damage or loss. The Lessor shall not be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the use of the trailer. The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold the Lessor harmless from any claims, damages, or costs, including legal fees, arising out of the Lessee's use of the trailer.

 7. Return Condition

The Lessee agrees to return the trailer in the same condition as it was at the start of the lease, with allowance for normal wear and tear. The trailer must be cleaned, emptied of all materials, and in good working order. Any necessary cleaning or repairs will be deducted from the security deposit.

8. Termination

The Lessor reserves the right to terminate this lease agreement at any time if the Lessee violates any terms of this agreement. The Lessee may terminate the agreement early with written notice to the Lessor. Any remaining rental fees will be prorated based on the actual days of use.

 9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York. Any legal actions arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Nassau County, NY.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, whether oral or written. Any amendments or modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
